Mills New Jersey. On June 18th, The Mamie Anderson Missionary Society presents
"DARAJU" It is a celebration of the African American people from where they
started beginning with the "Kings & Queens" of Africa to Generation X.
Juneteenth is a big part of black history and it will be one of the presentations at this
blessed celebration of the African American people. Please come out and celebrate with us

- The NAACP of Rahway, NJ will holding their first Juneteenth Celebration June 19, 1999 on
the lawn of Grover Cleveland Elementary School..in Rahway NJ. The Juneteenth Celebration
under the directorship of Mrs. Shirley Palmer a native of Dallas, Texas will begin at
11:00 am with a ceremony and the reciting of the Emancipation Procolomation..there will
plenty of bbq, watermelon,music,local entertainment and kiddie rides for the children...
