Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina will feature its' First Annual Juneteenth Celebration at the Enlisted Club on Friday, 19 June 1998 starting at 6 PM. The kickoff will feature a "Down Home Soul Buffet" with BBQ Ribs, Fried Chicken, Collard Greens, Fat Back & Blackeyed Peas and Peach Cobbler for dessert! This delicious feast will be offered from 6 to 9 PM and then at 9PM the evening really gets exciting when "NATURAL DESIRE" a R&B/Soul/Reggae band from Columbia, SC hits the stage! The celebration is open to everyone....Members get the Buffet for only $6.00 while non-members incur an additional $3 surcharge. The entertainment is FREE for members and $5 for non-members.
