On Sunday, June 21, 1998 at 10:00 a.m., Truth Evangelical Church will celebrate the Juneteenth holiday with a worship and picnic in Watkins Park, located on Enterprise Road south of Central Avenue in Area 8. All families are asked to pack a picnic basket including a dish to be placed on a common table. There will be fun for all ages!
