Along with a host of collaborative towns and surroundings cities, this augural Juneteenth Celebration will be hosted at
the MHS – Moscow High School at 402 E 5TH Street, Moscow Idaho, 10am - 6pm, Sunday June 19th . Although still seeking,
but not as yet on the national registry as
an official city celebration site, food, fun, and family entertainment will still be offered as part of the augural Moscow/Pullman’s Juneteenth Celebration festivities. A host
of recreational tournaments and games will be offered, as well as a Mr. and Miss Juneteenth crowning. Other civic minded representatives of towns
and cities representing local and at-large businesses are joining in with the Moscow Id
and Pullman Wa’s efforts, they are: Lapwai Id, Lewiston Id, Spokane Wa., Sandpoint Id, Troy Id, Genesee Id, Colton Wa., and many others not as yet confirmed are being asked to join in as well. A great time is expected to be had by all, make your arrangements today.

The Idaho Black History Museum will host the annual
Juneteenth Celebration from noon to 7 pm on June 18,
2005 at Julia Davis Park. A variety of food, gospel
music, drummers and more will be featured at the free
event. The third Saturday is recognized in Idaho as
'Juneteenth National Freedom Day.' |
