A Juneteenth Christian Prayer and Praise Service will be held on Saturday the
17th of June at Sharon SDA Church at 5209 NE 22nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon beginning at
6pm. The service is a part of the 2000 Annual Oregon Juneteenth Festival. The invited
guest speaker will be Carla Peoples founder of Oregon Juneteenth and Exective Director of
the Passage Over Committee. Also Chaplains of the Buffalo Soldiers will honored. |
