The Joint Services Black Heritage Committee, Ft. Meade, MD will celebrate it's
6th Annual day of family, food, and fun on June 17, 2000 at Burba Lake Park Site #1. The
event is scheduled from 12:30-7:30 PM. The day will kick off with a 5K Freedom Run and
continue on with children and adult activities, arts and crafts for show and sale, cards
and dominos tournament and food, food, food. The 5K Run/2K Walk Registration begins at
7:00 am and the race begins at 8:30 am.. Highlightng our entertainment is the Sistah
Souljah Step Squad, Shelton Martial Arts, and various DJs. Free Admission and open to the
