June 16 there will be a Gospel Fest in the Park starting at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Then on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. we will open the celebration with a parade marching down 17th Street to Yuma Street. All activities will be held at the Douglass Community Center, 901 Yuma. This year as always we will have vendors, food vendors, a balloon send off a live jazz/blues band, a talent showcase and on Friday, all the churches from the surrounding area have been invited to sing praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
